Each year in Geelong the Barwon Health Foundation, as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, put on a local World’s Longest Lunch to help raise funds for #ProjectLove – supporting the redevelopment of the Chemotherapy Day Ward and Pharmacy at the Andrew Love Cancer Centre at University Hospital Geelong.
The 2015 St John of God Pathology World’s Longest Lunch was held on Friday 13th March at Steampacket Gardens on Geelong’s beautiful waterfront.
The inspiration behind the styling was something fresh and colourful to capture the vibe of the event.
Our boho pink napkins became the inspiration for the whole thing, the pattern was incorporated into the stationary and promotional poster as well!
To complement the gorgeous vibrant napkin, we used golden pineapples, dipped wicker vases and concrete planters which collectively gave the perfect balance of crisp and colourful with earth and natural.
Adding to the festive feel of the event we hung ribbon chandeliers from the ceiling of the marquee. Whether they were hanging still and perfect or dancing around in the wind they looked pretty amazing.
Thank you to all who attended and supported this great event raising funds for #ProjectLove – supporting the redevelopment of the Chemotherapy Day Ward and Pharmacy at the Andrew Love Cancer Centre at University Hospital Geelong.
